The National Defense and Military Industry Application Conference on Titanium Materials and Technical Equipment will be held in Baoji.Titanium,known as the"strategic metal",is one of the indispensable materials in rockets and missiles today.China is a major producer of titanium materials,but in high-end application fields such as national defense and military industry,core process technology and advanced manufacturing equipment are still important bottlenecks that urgently need to be overcome.In order to assist in the construction of a modern military industry and defense equipment system,achieve the goal of advanced development of the titanium industry chain with"independent materials,processes,and equipment",and promote the development of titanium materials and related technology equipment fields,the first titanium materials and technology equipment defense military industry application conference will be held in Baoji from May 25 to 27,2022.

The theme is"Promoting the high-quality application of titanium materials and supporting the high-quality development of the national defense and military industry",aiming to create a cross industry cooperation platform by linking industry organizations,enterprises,and research institutes in fields such as mechanical equipment,raw materials,and national defense and military industry,and promote collaborative research on key and major issues in the industry.At that time,relevant enterprises and research institutes in the defense and military industry;Weapon design and research institutes affiliated with military enterprises;Responsible persons and representatives of weapon manufacturing enterprises and civilian military enterprises;Titanium material production enterprises,smelting,laser welding,forging,machining,precision machining and other enterprises,universities and research institutes;Metallurgical equipment,forging equipment,casting and forging equipment,rolling equipment,vacuum melting equipment,metal cutting equipment,flaw detection equipment,intelligent machine tools,precision machining and other equipment manufacturing enterprises;As well as the leaders and representatives of civilian and military enterprises,as well as representatives of investment institutions and other related enterprises,will be present to discuss the future development prospects and plans of the industry.
